Ballooning- There is not a great deal of choice when it comes to ballooning. Co-owners of Miami Ballooning, Tom Mackie and Carlos Zuniga, who used to fly balloons with balloon legend Don Caplan, dominate the market, taking clients up all year round to experience views of South Florida, the Atlantic Ocean and the Florida Everglades.
Either Carlos or Tom, depending who is flying your balloon on the day, meets clients at around 5.30am and the flight commences at 6.45am. Flights last 45 minutes to an hour, and it takes 30-40 minutes to get back to the meeting point. -
